Experience
I am a past professor at the Keller School of Graduate Studies at Devry University. What makes me a good tutor is that I understand both sides of the academic coin; being the student and being the teacher. I have been a student in post-secondary education since 1997 and understand the need to achieve and obtain knowledge. I do not subscribe to my students just learning the information to provide an answer on the test, however I want my students to gain an appreciation of the information. In high school I took all AP courses in my senior year, so I understand the pressures related to maintaining high levels in those classes. In my undergraduate career I was in the Honors Program at Temple University which afforded me the opportunity to take a vast array of classes from World Religion to Calculus 1 through 3. During my MBA academic career I studied all aspects of business and in turn had to relay them to the Healthcare Industry. In my current studies I focus on writing as a strong method of communicating my thoughts about business issues, non-profit organization, eCommerce, and leadership.
