May L.
Private tutor in Malden, MA
Education
I received my PhD in Nanobiology in 2020 from SUNY Polytechnic Institute. I am currently working as a postdoctoral fellow in Boston MA.
Experience
I have been tutoring math, since I was in high school and have experience in tutoring for more than 5 years. I have helped, and tutored many students to be successful in math. I also enjoy working with kids, and keep them interested on the subject. I am always looking for fun ways to tutor math, and prove it is not scary to do math. Understanding basic is very important to do well in math and I always makes sure my students understand and know how to solve the questions rather than memorizing the problems. I strongly believe that math is very essential subject to be successful in any major that you study. I am always happy to hear how well they did on their math exam. I took Algebra, Geometry, Pre-Calc, and AP BC Calculus in high school and Calculus 2, Honor Linear, honor Calculus 3, differential equations and analysis for applications in college.
